Hank Thor and the Duster BJ-1B

I am guessing there is only one Hank Thor, former CSS pilot, aeronautical engineer, and sailplane designer.  If you haven't heard his story of developing the Duster BJ-1B--I had not--you are missing out.  Hank designed the BJ-1B to follow his and Ben Jansson's BJ-1 Dynamite design, to compete with the SGS 1-26. Evidently the kit-plane, plywood gliders kicked the Schweizer's butt.  To find out more, go to the Fiddlers Green Paper Models web site, where you can purchase a paper model of the Duster and read the history of the real glider (with photos).  Coincidentally, there are currently two Dusters for sale on Wings and Wheels.
